Route Details

1) E-Bike Rental (10–15 minutes)

We begin at the e-bike rental point where each participant will receive a helmet and a brief orientation. The guide will explain how to operate the bikes, review safety instructions, and provide an overview of the tour route. Be cautious when riding through the Gothic Quarter due to its narrow streets and pedestrian traffic.

Helmets are recommended.
Please stay hydrated and inform the guide if you need to stop.

2) Mercat de la Boqueria (15 minutes)

Just off La Rambla lies Barcelona’s most famous and visually stunning market. Though popular with visitors, it still maintains a strong local identity. Known officially as Mercat de Sant Josep, La Boqueria is filled with vibrant produce, seafood, sweets, and more.

We’ll take a brief walk through the market while the guide shares a bit of its rich history and character.

3) Mercat de Santa Caterina (35 minutes)

This market is a gem known for its colorful undulating roof, created with over 300,000 ceramic tiles. It’s a quieter, more local alternative to La Boqueria, offering a more relaxed atmosphere.

Inside, you’ll find high-quality meats, seafood, cheeses, and vegetables. We’ll stop here for a tasting experience that includes fresh juices, cured meats, cheeses, and small tapas.

You’ll also get a chance to explore the interior architecture and, if time allows, view remnants of the old convent beneath the market.

4) Mercat dels Encants (25 minutes)

One of the oldest flea markets in Europe, Els Encants is a unique mix of antiques, collectibles, and secondhand treasures. The market operates beneath a dramatic mirrored roof that reflects the bustle and energy of this historic site.

Here, you’ll have time to explore the stalls at your own pace, hunt for curiosities, or simply enjoy the vibrant surroundings. There are also food stands available if you’d like to try a local snack.

5) Mercat de Sant Antoni (25 minutes)

Our final market stop is Sant Antoni, a beautifully restored 19th-century iron market that continues to serve locals with everyday goods and fresh food. It’s less crowded than other markets and offers an authentic neighborhood feel.

We’ll enjoy a final round of tapas here and take time to explore the structure and its offerings. On some days, you might also catch a local book or collectible fair taking place around the market.

6) Return to E-Bike Rental Point (10–15 minutes)

We’ll ride back to the starting point to return the bikes and wrap up the experience. Group photos are encouraged, and your guide will be happy to share information about other tours and experiences available through our website.
